"The Individuality within Manga Art"

People have found it interesting how different artists depicted the same person. Akemi was drawn by several artists in different ways. Akemi is celebrating her 50 years of life this year and has a lot of pictures taken by photographers from the USA, UK and Japan. Therefore it was suggested that 50 works of Manga images of Akemi (either drawn from life or based on photographs) will be displayed at this exhibition. This will give an interesting "50:100:150 year perspective" inspired by Akemi's 50 years, the Anglo-Japanese Association's 100th year anniversary, and the 150 year celebration of relations between the UK and Japan.
Therefore, manga and anime artworks of Akemi will be displayed FREE OF CHARGE.
