Practioner of traditional Japanese | ||
My personal choices and professional activities are informed by my upbringing as daughter of a samurai family and many years of practicing traditional arts and customs. I seek to integrate, in my own lifestyle, the traditional thoughts and skills of such practices as the tea ceremony and calligraphy with the demands of a modern lifestyle in the UK.
This includes the application of gyugi saho (Japanese etiquette), wearing a kimono, practicing the tea ceremony and shodo calligraphy, and so on. I shall explain more, as I update and expand this web site.
